Our Dumpster Usage Rules For Proper Disposal

Prohibited Items & Restrictions

Strictly Prohibited (Safety & Environmental Regulations)

• Tires: Not accepted due to EPA/Georgia EPD regulations.
• Batteries: Fire hazard. Car, truck, and equipment batteries must be recycled separately.
• Hazardous Materials: Wet paint, asbestos, lead, flammable liquids, and chemicals are strictly forbidden.
  • Note: Paint cans may be accepted if the paint is completely dried or hardened.
  • Use Cat litter, dirt, sand or saw dust and mix with paint. Allow to completely dry and place in double trash bags.
  • Gas Tanks or Containers must be empty and vapor free. Rinse out with water prior to placing these into the dumpster.
• Propane Tanks: Propane tanks must be placed in front of the dumpster and we will recycle them.
  • Do not place tanks in the dumpster.

Heavy & Restricted Materials (Call Before Booking)

• Concrete, Dirt & Tree Stumps: Not accepted due to weight limits affecting truck safety.
• Bricks & Blocks: Accepted only with prior approval and communication with the customer.
• Shingles: Accepted only with prior approval and communication with the customer.

Accepted Items & Loading Guidelines

Household & General Clean Up

• Furniture: Couches, recliners, tables, chairs, end tables, dressers, etc.
  • Turning a love seat onto a couch will allow room to be saved for other items in the dumpster.
  • Tables, dressers, and wooden chairs can be broken down to save space if necessary.
• Mattresses & Box Springs: Place mattresses and box springs on their sides.
  • Do not place them flat in the bottom of the dumpster unless on the very top but under the rim.
  • Placing plastic around the mattresses will keep weight down after it rains.
• Cleanouts: garage, shed, single room, whole house items like old junk, toys, clothing, shoes, linen items, etc.
  • Placing all cloth materials in plastic bags keep weight down after it rains.

Special Loading Instructions (Important)

• Appliances: Stoves, Refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers and microwaves are accepted.
  • Please place these at the very rear (doors) of the dumpster.
  • They are recycled separately and cannot be buried under bulk trash.
  • Refrigerators must be dropped off at a different location of the land fill to have the refrigerant removed.
• Yard Debris: Leaves, limbs, grass clippings and brush are accepted ONLY if separated from other trash.
  • Do not mix yard waste with construction debris or household trash or junk.
