21 Yard Dumpster Rental

21 Yard Dumpster rental from FTH Services starting at $325 with 7 days, delivery, pickup, and 1 ton included.

FULLY INSURED

21 Yard Dumpster — $325

The 21 yard dumpster has the tallest walls in our lineup at 6 ft, on the same 14 ft floor as the 13 and 17, so it holds the most by volume. It is best for larger cleanouts and bulky, lighter material such as furniture, mattresses, and whole-home decluttering, where you fill up on bulk before you ever reach the weight limit.

Good For

  • Dimensions: 14 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 6 ft high
  • ≈ 9 pickup loads / 160–180 trash bags
  • Same floor size as the 13 and 17 but with the tallest 6 ft walls, so it holds the most by volume. Built for bulky, lighter material you pile high: furniture, mattresses, and whole-home cleanouts.
  • Choose this one when you are filling up on bulk before you ever reach the weight limit.

Rental Includes

  • Delivery and pickup
  • 7 days of use

21 Yard Dumpster User Guidance

Best Projects for a 21 Yard Dumpster

A 21 yard dumpster is best when the project is expected to create a larger volume of debris and extra room is needed beyond the standard mid-size options. It is a good fit for major home cleanouts, full-house decluttering, large furniture removal, real estate cleanouts, foreclosure or rental turnover work, remodeling debris, storm debris, and contractor projects where bulky material can take up space quickly. The extra capacity is useful when the project may grow once cleanup begins.

When to Choose the 21 Yard Instead of a Smaller Dumpster

Choose the 21 yard dumpster when the project includes multiple debris types, large household items, several rooms of waste, or a cleanup timeline where stopping for a second container would slow the job down. This size is especially helpful for mattresses, couches, cabinetry, shelving, old fixtures, boxes, wood, and general mixed debris. It gives the job a larger working container while keeping pricing and rental terms easy to understand.

Practical Use and Weight Considerations

The 21 yard dumpster provides more room, but customers should still pay attention to weight. A large container can fill quickly with heavy material, and weight over the included amount is billed by the ton. For best results, place heavier items low and spread them evenly, then load lighter bulky debris around them. If the project includes shingles or unusually heavy debris, plan the details before loading so the rental matches the job and pickup can be handled safely. Concrete, dirt, brick, rock, heavy fill, and tree stumps are not accepted in standard dumpster rentals.

Choosing Between the 20 Yard and 21 Yard Dumpster

The 20 and 21 yard dumpsters are currently priced the same. The 20 yard dumpster is a strong choice when the project includes remodeling debris, heavier household material, estate cleanout debris, or contractor cleanup that should be loaded low and spread evenly. The 21 yard dumpster is useful when the cleanup includes bulky but lighter material such as furniture, mattresses, large household items, packaging, storm debris, and full-house decluttering material that may fill a smaller container by volume before reaching the weight limit.

If the job includes shingles or unusually heavy debris, plan the load carefully so the right container and disposal details are clear. Concrete, dirt, brick, rock, heavy fill, and tree stumps are not accepted in standard dumpster rentals.

Accepted Materials and Items We Do Not Accept

Before loading a dumpster, review the material rules so the job stays clean and pickup is not delayed.

Common Accepted Cleanup Debris

  • Household junk and general cleanout debris
  • Furniture, boxes, clutter, tables, chairs, couches, recliners, coffee tables, mattresses, and box springs
  • Kitchen trash and clothing when bagged before being placed in the dumpster
  • Wood, trim, cabinets, doors, and light remodeling debris
  • Appliances without refrigerant loaded at the rear barn doors so they can be accessed at disposal
  • Small construction and contractor cleanup debris

Items That Need Loading Care

  • Load mattresses and box springs first, standing vertically on the long edge when possible
  • Load appliances without refrigerant at the rear barn doors, not buried in the middle of the container. Appliances with refrigerant are not accepted
  • Spread dense items such as books, flooring, cabinets, and drywall across the floor instead of stacking them in one spot
  • Plan roofing shingles, unusually heavy debris, or large amounts of wet material so the right dumpster size and loading approach are used
  • Yard cleanup debris may be accepted when the material type and amount fit the project

We Do Not Accept

  • Concrete, brick, dirt, rock, heavy fill, and tree stumps
  • Storm debris with mixed, wet, or oversized material
  • Tires, batteries, wet paint, chemicals, liquids, fuel, asbestos, and biohazard material
  • Appliances with refrigerant, including refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and similar units unless refrigerant has been professionally removed
  • Debris loaded above the rim/top rail; it may create additional fees or require unloading before pickup

Weather and Weight Reminder

Standard rentals include 1 ton of disposal weight. Rain can make certain materials much heavier, including carpet, padding, mattresses, box springs, upholstered furniture, drywall, insulation, cardboard, yard debris, and bagged household trash. Keep absorbent items covered when possible and load them before heavy rains. Weight over the included amount is billed at $85 per ton, prorated, according to the Terms and Conditions.

How the Dumpster Rental Process Works

FTH Services keeps the rental process simple so homeowners, contractors, landlords, and property managers know what happens before the dumpster arrives and after it is loaded.

1. Choose the Right Size

Compare the 13, 17, 20, and 21-yard roll-off dumpsters based on the project type, amount of debris, driveway space, and whether the cleanup includes bulky or heavy material.

2. Schedule Delivery

Book online or call with the delivery address, preferred date, placement details, and any material questions. Same-day delivery is available for many orders placed before the cutoff.

3. Load During the Rental Period

The standard rental includes 7 days of use. Load debris evenly, keep material below the rim/top rail, and keep out the items we do not accept (concrete, dirt, stumps, tires, batteries, wet paint, biohazard). Material above the rim can create added fees or require unloading before pickup.

4. Pickup and Disposal

When the project is complete, FTH Services retrieves the dumpster and handles disposal. Extra days and weight over the included amount are billed according to the posted rental terms.

Which Dumpster Size Should You Choose?

The right size controls your cost, prevents overloading, and keeps you from needing a second container. Compare all four roll-off sizes side by side, then book the one that matches your project.
